March of Dimes 2010 Ambassador
(Date posted: February 10, 2010) Our very own Kate Haller has been selected as the 2010 Ambassador of the Austin Chapter!
Kate was born at 25 weeks, that is 3 months premature, and her twin brother, Jack, did not survive. She is currently a healthy active toddler running circles around her parents, Babs and Joe. They are avid supporters of prematurity awareness and go to great lengths to contribute to the great organizations that have made such tremendous medical advances in this field. The March for Babies is the March of Dimes larger fundraising event. Made up of "family teams" that are made up of friends and family members, they walk to celebrate, honor or remember the babies and children who have touched their lives. Children's Medical Group will be joining Team Haller for the second year and will be walking on May 8, 2010.
