My dear sweet patients,

It is with mixed emotions that I am sharing my decision to leave medical practice for a while. We learned this spring that my husband, Colin, has Stage IV melanoma and he is currently undergoing immunotherapy infusions. So far everything is going well, but given the opportunity to spend more time with my family, I am going to take it.

I wish I could have this conversation with each of you face to face. You have been such a blessing in my life over the past fourteen years. It was a joy to visit your newborns in the hospital and watch your children grow. Thank you for the privilege of getting to know your family in this way.  You have been there alongside me while my kids were little and have taught me so much about being a parent. I have learned from watching you guys and hearing your stories. Thank you for helping me be a better mother.

Children’s Medical Group will continue to offer you the family centered, quality medical care that you expect. Customer service and taking care of you and your child is their priority.

It is especially hard for me to leave in light of our recent tragedy. I couldn’t be more proud of this staff and their courage and commitment to CMG. Your support and outpouring of love truly sustained us and for that I am eternally grateful.

My resignation is effective August 1, 2021. Dr. Grace Holzman will be taking my place. Many of you have already met Dr. Holzman, as she has worked with us for many years covering maternity leaves and my vacation time. She is already a part of the CMG family and I am glad she is willing to join permanently.

I pray God’s richest blessing on each of you and hope to see you around town so that I can give you a hug.

A note about medical records:

In response to Dr. Bell’s resignation, she is obligated to provide you information about your child’s medical record.

If you wish to remain a patient of Children’s Medical Group, which we sincerely hope, then there is nothing that you need to do.  Your medical record will remain in custody of Children’s Medical Group.

If you wish to transfer care to another practice, you may request to have them moved with this form.
