Oh sweet CMG families. We are so sad to be sending this communication that we tragically lost our Dr. Dodson on Tuesday evening. The outpouring of love that you and the community have already shown is beyond amazing. She was such a light and will be our light to move forward.

We have to thank the medical community for surrounding us in support and to our amazing call partners who have jumped in to cover patients. Dr. Dodson was like no other. We are blessed to have had her at CMG. As our fearless leader, she had constant words of positive encouragement and told us daily she loved us. She made everyone around her feel loved and important and valued. Always. No matter what. She made work fun and her laugh was the best. We could hear her in exam rooms burst out laughing frequently throughout the day and it made you smile every time and sometimes even laugh out loud as well. She was brilliant in mind and in spirit and a big presence in heart, energy, and knowledge. That presence will remain with CMG.
