Setting up a telemedicine visit is easy! We currently conduct our telemedicine visits through Doxy.me
- Make an appointment with our office by calling 512-451-5161. A link will be sent to you via email for the time of your visit.
- At the time of your appointment, click the link to connect to our virtual waiting room. There is no additional software to install. You may use a phone or computer, but please ensure that you have a good internet connection prior to your appointment.
- When your doctor sees that you are in the waiting room, your visit will begin.
- If applicable:
- a. Please check your child’s temperature prior to the appointment.
- b. Have your child in a well-lit area and bring a flashlight in case we need better lighting for the exam.
- If you are scheduled for a consultation for behavioral, ADHD or lab results, we will need to briefly see your child during the visit. Your child may then leave the telemedicine visit if you prefer to speak with the physician confidentially.
- If the physician feels that an in-office visit is required to complete a diagnosis, then a time will be scheduled for an in-person visit.
- Please note, many of our behavioral consultations are scheduled at the end of the workday which allows the physician to offer extended time to address all your concerns. Our office sees acute visits during the day that may cause physician delays at the end of the day due to unforeseen medical problems that may present. Please allow yourself plenty of time for the consultation. Our office will contact you by phone if the physician is running late and will help you reschedule if needed.
